Beginning June 27, 2013 David began painting for the Wasatch Plein Air Paradise 2013. In the first 5 days the artist can do up to 3 paintings for the main competition. David's locations were the Upper Provo River in Wasatch County, The McPolin Barn just outside of Park City and Oakley, Utah where he painted the red barn and silo. Each of these paintings were done in two sessions over the five days. The Heber City Paint Out Contest was today. David's painting took both the first place ribbon and the first place purchase award. Tomorrow David will be painting in Midway, Utah and then on the 4th of July the competition ends with a quick draw and auction. The show is open until 4pm July 4th
